about

...don't give up the ship, you never know where it might take you

I descend from a long line of tailors and travellers
it could be said that cloth is in my blood
a childhood spent playing along the edges of lakes and rivers
gave way to a longing to see the world
I left with camera in hand
documenting things that caught my eye
falling in love with cloth and culture was inevitable

it is these things
that wind their way into my work
through a series of detailed processes
weaving / binding / stitching / dying / cutting / folding
I weave, I travel
not far from a loom and always with a camera in my hand
